This information is for those who may be interested in joining as a collaborator in the application of DArT/DArTseq and informatic technologies in the DArT network.
As part of a initiative in network development, we receive visitors at our facility when establishing DArT for new species or developing new applications. Those who come are compensated by Canberra’s weather (approx. 250 days per year of sunshine) and natural surroundings. We are less than 1km from Lake Burley Griffin and frequently spot kangaroos, possums and other wildlife around our building.
We primarily spend our time developing IT tools. If you are interested in collaborating with us on software development, we are also open to long-distance collaboration. For example, DArTdb, was substantially developed in Poland.
The volume of data generated by DArT is increasing at an exponential rate providing ample opportunities for serious statistical explorations. Data-mining approaches could be explored through a visit to Canberra or via remote access to our data.
To become part of our international network, please contact us and provide the following information:
- contact details (address and email)
- research area
- proposed interaction (up to 200 words)
We will reply as soon as we can.
