Cina Vipin
In 2009, Cinas came to DArT as part of her PhD studies through Charles Sturt University, in Wagga Wagga, working on locus identification for Pleiochaeta setosa in white lupin. She is now a DArT employee involved in various aspects of microarray work and learning DArTseq.
Cinas holds a bachelor’s degree in Botany and a master in Biotechnology from India. She previously worked at the Rubber Research Institute of India (RRII), focusing mainly on molecular marker identification in a fungus (Corynespora cassiicola) in rubber leaves.
Cinas migrated to Australia in 2007 and has settled down in Canberra with her husband and daughter.
